Sanebox App: What is Sanebox?

In 2010, a group of nerds came up with a better solution for email management. Since email was not a major issue back then, it was an excellent time to come up with a new service.

Since then, Sanebox has provided simple solutions for individuals to manage email. It’s artificial intelligence for email management, where the customer doesn’t have to do much using the service. It’s something that can be used anywhere when checking email and continues to get better over time.

When connected to your email, Sanebox analyses your past behavior and determines which emails are more relevant to you. For example, which emails do you open, which ones you respond to, and how often you check them. Any unimportant emails will move from your inbox to a “SaneLater” folder. The rest of your emails will be summarized in a digest.

Sanebox works anywhere you check your email (being an email folder), and very secure. For the remainder of this post, I will discuss some of the details about Sanebox.

Sanebox App:

Top Features

Sanebox has plenty of cool features, but I’ll go over some of the best ones below. I think the customizable folders is a great way to keep your emails organized.

Customized Folders

Sanebox reviews- Folders

Instead of your emails going to your inbox, Sanebox will move specific emails to selected folders you selected. Here are some of the most common ones:

  • @SaneLater: Any non-urgent emails that can wait until later. If it can wait until the next day or sometime next week, move the email to SaneLater.
  • @SaneNews: This folder is suitable for newsletters and email lists. Any unread emails will move to your “SaneArchive” folder after seven days.
  • @SaneBlackhole: Any emails you can’t get to or find annoying. If there are newsletters you don’t have time to read, or get sales offers (i.e., Amazon), move them to this folder.
  • @SaneNoReplies: Any emails you sent out to others, but still waiting for responses from them.

Trained contacts

This feature helps you categorize which of your contacts should go into your customized folders. So if it’s a friend or a coworker of yours, maybe you’ll want to keep them in your inbox. If it’s a newsletter, you read often, move it to the “@SaneNews” folder. Or if it’s people who you communicate with regularly, maybe you’ll want to keep them in your inbox. It’s up to you, but a neat feature.

Best folders

Sanebox reviews- Second set of folders

I mentioned the “@SaneBlackhole” folder earlier. It’s convenient to move any annoying emails to this folder, or emails you don’t have time to look over.

Along with this folder, Sanebox has a “@SaneDoNotDisturb” folder available. You can snooze your inbox at any time when you don’t want any disruptions. For example, maybe for a couple of hours in the afternoon, your inbox won’t be flooded while your email is open. I find this convenient when I want to do deep work during the day.

Overall Review

Sanebox reviews- Inbox

In my opinion, Sanebox is the best solution for email management. The services provided help break down which emails are necessary or not. Besides that, the amount of time people can save from checking email is incredible. If you check email multiple times daily, that can take up a lot of time. So if you reduce it to a half-hour each day, that would be a vast improvement.

I’ve been a Sanebox user for the last few years, and I enjoy using it. I used to check my email all the time, and it became a bad habit for me. Since I’ve used Sanebox, I got more time under control. Now, I limit myself to no more than 30 minutes of checking and responding to emails. Sanebox has been a lifesaver for me, and I feel better about using their services. So for me, it’s a win-win now and in the long run.

Are you ready to start taking control of your inbox? Do you want to regain control of your time from checking email? If so, check out Sanebox today with a 14-day free trial. It’s time to get your mind “sane” again.

What do you think of Sanebox? Do you think it would help control your email usage?

  1. Email is the bane of my life in my day job and in my side hustles.  I rather view it as information anarchy because it is predominantly used by too many people as a chat channel. Not what is was designed for folks!

Anyway enough of my rant; this looks like a great product and I certainly want to take it for a spin.  A question though, how good is the AI, in your cons you indicate some issues, are these teething issues on setup and early use doe the AI compensate over time in your experience?

    • It’s good to hear your input, Hamish!

In regards to your question, the AI features are excellent for the most part. But as I said earlier, I’ve experienced some glitches with emails going into the wrong folders. So they have some small issues, but most of them is great! I’ve communicated with the customer service team, and their support is incredible. They’re pleasant to work with lately.

Thank you for your question. I much appreciate it!

  2. Yeah, I’m definitely one of those people with hundreds of unread mails. It’s easy to subscribe to one newsletter, but once things start to stack up and you got less and less time, things can definitely get out of control. This service appeals to me, especially the sane-no spam folder, since with regular outlook, lots of mail that I actually do want to get tends to get put in spam. Since there is a 14-day trial I might check it out.

    • Yeah, I hear you, Faheem.

Well, you’re not the only one. There are many people who have flooded email inboxes. It’s not easy! Things can sure get out of control every now and then, for sure.

If you’re trying out the 14-day free trial, I’d love to hear your thoughts. I meant to say that Sanebox will give you a $25 coupon when you open up an account. So that can cover part of your plan, depending on which one you choose.

Thanks for sharing your input! Much appreciated.

  3. Hello there Eric- Sanebox sounds like a great app for email management that will help people stay organized and keep an articulate email. I like that the algorithm studies your behavior and can therefore deem which mail will be important, and which is not, and also the many other features mentioned in your article.

    • Thank you, Beesean. I’m glad to know you enjoyed reading this post.

Yes, Sanebox can help people keep their email organized. Looking over email can be a daunting task for some people. But if they can manage it the right way, they’ll always stay on track of their inbox.

The algorithm they set up is quite neat, I have to admit. It can help figure out which emails are important or not, as you reiterated.

Thanks again for sharing your input- much appreciated!

  4. I’ve been using Gmail for years and I believe the native ‘Labeling’ feature is a good way to segregate emails albeit dated. The Sanebox trial links directly to my Google account, so that’s very convenient. I’ll give it a try and see if it will enhance my email management for the better. Thanks for the review.

    • Of course, Cathy. I’m glad to know you enjoyed reading this review.

Yes, I’m with you on using Gmail. It has a lot of nice features, but I think Sanebox goes even further decluttering your inbox. The AI-enhanced features that are set up help reduce some of the problems with email management.

I hope that Sanebox will be a great fit for your inbox. It can make a difference in helping you save time each day. I can say it’s helped keep my inbox being flooded with endless emails!

Thank you very much for sharing your input- very much appreciated!

  5. Hello Eric! Thank you very much for sharing this Sanebox app review. I think I’m the person that needs to use this app the most so I find it very helpful. I’m definitely one of those people with hundreds of unread mails. It’s easy to subscribe to one newsletter, but once things start to stack up and you got less and less time, things can definitely get out of control. I really love this app especially since it has the no spam folder, thank you very much.

    • Your welcome, Sophie. I’m glad to know you found this post helpful.

Luckily, you’re not the only one who has a flooded inbox. It seems to be an organizational problem for some; for others, it’s more of a time management issue.

You make a great point on subscribing to newsletters, but then your inbox fills up quickly. I’ve been there before, and quickly unsubscribe from them. I think it’s about prioritizing what you want to read or not. So it’s something to keep in mind.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts- very much appreciated!

  6. Well! This actually has the features to be one of the very best ones to be here. I actually like the fact that it helps to filter out what matters the most and that is the goal. Having access to the very best out here. Really delighted to see this here. Thank you for the detailed information in here and it makes so much sense here.

    • Thank you, I’m glad to know you enjoyed this post.

You’re right- having those filters available is a great option. Being able to find what matters more (and what doesn’t) is essential to email management. Sanebox does a great job providing that option, and it makes it easier to go through your inbox.

Thanks again for sharing your input- much appreciated!

  7. Its always a good thing as a business owner to be able to get an extra hand to help run some things in your business, like email management which will make your work easier for you. Sanebox is a great option, I like the features and the fact that it is affordable makes it really interesting and lovely to have. Thanks for sharing.

    • Of course, Jbryce. I’m glad to know you found the post helpful.

Yes, it’s crucial for business owners to have a tool such as Sanebox. I’ve mentioned before that time can be your most important asset. It can be your best friend or your worst enemy, and it’s up to you how to spend your time.

With Sanebox, it helps people manage their time better. Also, it allows people to become efficient with email and working on other things. In other words, working on things that matter the most.

Thank you again for sharing your input- much appreciated!

As I mentioned to a previous comment, you’re not the only one who has hundreds of unread emails. It’s a struggle for many people, and something to change as well. Sandbox helps fix some of those issues, and has a neat product.

Thank you for sharing your input- much appreciated!

  9. Hello Eric,

Emailing is way important in online business and many of us are aware of it. However only a few are aware of how to go about it. With the aid of such apps, it will be much easier to go about creating its own email list and getting your business one step ahead.  The various plans here are very nice and cheap for people to afford.

    • Thank you, Lawson. I’m glad to know the post was helpful.

Understanding how to use email efficiently is necessary in today’s world. It’s all about organization and time management, which are areas people should focus on these days.

Luckily, Sanebox works well on these issues. It’s great they have a product aimed at making your life ”saner”.

Thanks again for sharing your input- much appreciated!
