Best refractor telescopes- Main

Not everyone may have interests in telescopes, but they’re still useful in today’s age. Some of the best refractor telescopes don’t have to be used by astronomists. Instead, they can be some of the best telescopes for children to use for space exploration.

  1. Thank you for this review. It seems that you like this product at least for children or beginning users. I had telescopes when I was a teenager and apart from a few times when I was actually able to find one of the planets, it was often a frustrating experience probably because I had a cheap telescope that got bent very easily and after that I could never get it to align correctly. I would be interested to know though, in light of the magnification this telescope offers, 20, 40 and 60 times and the fact that as you say it cannot be adjusted to greater than a 40 degree elevation – would this scope be suitable for viewing, for example the planets or even finding orbiting satellites? Also is it possible to attach a camera, even a smart phone camera or is that not practical. I would like to get my 7 year old daughter interested in astronomy but I want her to have a good experience. Would this be the best option? Thanks and best regards, Andy.

    • Hi Andy, I’m glad to hear that you enjoyed reading this review. Also, your previous experiences using telescopes while you were growing up.

      Regarding your questions:

-Yes, the scope would still be suitable for viewing- particularly for seeing other planets. As I mentioned, it’s probably not the best for viewing the moon or something that looks a lot lighter than it usually is.

-For this telescope, you can attach a camera or a smartphone for optimal viewing if you prefer. It’s nice that you attach something smaller to this type of telescope.

-Overall, I think this astronomical telescope is your best option. It has so many great features that you likely won’t be disappointed with.

I hope I answered your questions thoroughly. I know you want to make a great choice to pick one out for your daughter. But thanks for asking, best of luck in your decisions. Very much appreciated!

  2. Hello there, thank you for this very detailed post,  this I exactly what I have looking for,  as my so just developed this recent love for telescope maybe because of this television program he has been watching, though I really don’t know much about telescope but from this review I really think this will be just perfect for him,  do you have any other options?

    • Thanks, Jomata. I’m glad you enjoyed reading this review.

It’s great to hear you like this kind of telescope. Who is “he” you’re referring to? A family member, friend, or significant other? It sounds like you’re looking for a telescope that would be best for another individual. I don’t mind it, but I’m happy to write this review and provide information for maybe a gift idea.

Regarding other options, I don’t have any other recommendations for telescopes right now. But I’d be happy to do future reviews on other telescope brands. I will gladly look into it and see what else is out there.

Thanks again for your input and question- much appreciated!

  3. awesome review on the best refractor telescope one of which is the astronomical telescope……astronomical telescope is an optical instrument which is used to see the magnified image of distant heavenly bodies like stars, planets, satellites and galaxies etc. … the focal length fo of the objective lens of astronomical telescope is large as compared to the focal length fof the eye..

trust me it’s fun when you get to see the beautiful stars up there from your rooftop or your balcony

    • Thanks, Evans. It’s great to hear you enjoyed reading this review on the telescope.

Yes, this astronomical telescope has a lot of great features to make the viewing experience optimal. Once you get the hang of it, you can start to see a lot of the stars and planets at a much closer view. It certainly can be fun to get those closer looks up in the sky.

Thanks again for sharing your input- much appreciated!
