Well, first of all, welcome!
So what do you want to know about me? This site is not all about “me, me, me,” but I’ll say a few words.
Continue to read on.
Up until a year ago, my life revolved around staying average. I realized I was living a mediocre lifestyle and developed a poor mindset. Taking the traditional (safe) route was the best way to live a decent life. I followed advice from other people, but now I know they didn’t understand what was in my best interests.
Like any average individual, I used to think that settling for the middle-class was good enough and not go any further than that. I grew up in an affluent suburb. I was raised by two hard-working, loving parents who sacrificed to make sure I was taken care of. I made good friendships, and I had family members who lived nearby who I became close to while growing up. I went to public schools, went to college, and eventually got a great job and living on my own.
About Me: Don’t Misinterpret Me.
While I remain grateful for what I had while growing up, I am at a point where I am not happy and unsatisfied with where I’m at. It doesn’t mean I’m discrediting my childhood into early adulthood years, but I’m in a growth phase where I’m asking myself,
“What do I want to get out of life?
What kind of lifestyle do I want to have?
How can I live a more fulfilling, happier life?”
These are important questions I will continue to explore if I want to make the most of my time here on planet Earth.
In the last several years, I considered myself a political person. But now, my view of reality has wholly shifted to be less political and more focused on improving myself. I’m less dependable and reliant on the mainstream media and our so-called “leaders” for the best solutions to our problems. Politics is an unnecessary evil that results in division, hatred, and even the loss of lives.
Our culture is more divided and delusional than ever. More people believe the state plays an essential role in society. Also, they think it’s the option of last resort (i.e., safety-net- social programs) when things turn for the worse. More people are inclined to believe that people in powerful positions should solve their problems.
The problems we have today easily reflects on us as individuals. Instead of relying on putting the right people in political office then hoping they can address our issues, every person needs to look in the mirror and ask themselves,
“Maybe I need to change first before we as a society need to change.”
Why Am I Here?
Let’s face it: we live in very uncertain times, but it’s also one of the most exceptional times to be alive in history. In the digital age, it’s never been easier to start a new business venture; therefore, there are many ways to make a living using the internet.
Instead of depending on politicians and bureaucrats to solve our problems, we as individuals have to take charge of our lives and solve our problems. It can range from personal issues to financial issues, but we don’t have to do it on our own. We can rely on family, friends, and our communities.
One thing I have learned throughout the year is that politics is downstream of culture. In other words, if you decide to change yourself first, you can then apply what you learned and persuade others to change.
But keep in mind: political activism is not the best method for creating change in society. We cannot advocate change by bringing the state into using coercion and force to achieve political means.
There are two things (part of the non-aggression principle) that I follow personally and apply it in business as well:
We don’t hurt others (i.e., assault, murder, rape).
We don’t take their stuff (theft).
These two components are the best way to achieve a freer society, and ultimately a more peaceful world.
This site is not a political platform designed to complain all the time. At this point, politics is not the answer- it doesn’t work at all. I’m focused on living in the world as it is. It’s become impossible to live in a world that follows my expectations. I believe my world vision won’t happen tomorrow or next year. Instead, my goal is to help others change themselves first if they want to see a substantial increase in their lives.
My website will center on topics such as personal development, self-improvement, and time management. This site is a great way to share my thoughts and best practices, and that I can be a helpful resource I hope you will find great value from what I have to provide.
I’m a short-term pessimist about the future, but I’m a very long-term optimist. There are great opportunities ahead in our world, and there is no time to waste anymore.
